Annie Mist Thorisdottir, from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit athlete. She owns and runs Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she is a coach for athletes. Annie is the first woman to be crowned the winner of at the CrossFit Games twice. Annie was second at the both the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is a weightlifter CrossFit and a media star. Her fame was boosted by her being the first woman who taken home the two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. She is also known as having been the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and brought to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and brothers. In her early years she was a huge fan of sports and exercise. She was a participant in numerous school activities and won a number of medals. She participated for the first time in 2009 in CrossFit Games in California, where she did very well. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 in 2021. She is 5'7 tall and weighs approximately about 67 kgs. Annie began with her CrossFit training in the year 2009, in California. She performed well in initial games and finished in the top 10 out of 70. However, she was unable to make it to the top of the tournament, and ended her time with an overall score of 11. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Under the coaching of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed second in CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. Because of her exceptional performances, she was able to win her first CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie has outstanding 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first female to have won each of the CrossFit Games. The silver medal was awarded in the year 2014 and then in the year 2021 she received a Bronze medal at the CrossFit Games. Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. In the last few years, as an athlete Annie has been a face for a number of brands in sports, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae among many other. Some 2,000 people have subscribed to her self-titled Youtube channel where videos of training as well as travel and family videos are posted.
