Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born June 13, 1962 in the United States is an actor. Her debut in film was Bad Boys (1983). Following that she enrolled in the Bratpack band and made appearances as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy received the Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead for her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy's is both an American actress, and author. In the early 80s, she made her debut as a film actress with the action film Bad Boys. She was highly acclaimed for the film. The film which was directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other famous actors, including Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. Her first success led her to appear in The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama from 1985. The film of John Hughes, The Breakfast Club is regarded as being among the high school cinema's best films. Even though the budget for this film was $1 million it has made more than $50 million. Also, she began to appear in a variety of TV programs, such as CBS Schoolbreak. This was her TV debut. In April of 1980, the show began to air. It was aimed at teenagers. Other shows on TV she was in included Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. Some of her latest appearances include Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse which is a movie about a superhero that she appears in as in a role as a guest. Her incredible performances have earned her numerous awards like her MTV Movie Award of Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
